What are the color options?

Taking inspiration from nature and this gorgeous natural material, we're pleased to offer you a choice of colors for your Desk and accessories.

Satin Birch:

The natural Birch look features a super smooth, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, and hard-wearing surface finish.

This finish is heat-applied melamine, similar to a kitchen worktop surface. It is clear, leaving an exposed wood grain pattern and a hard-wearing finish on top.

What makes our birch ply special?

We've selected the finest sustainable birchwood ply to craft our products.

We accept payments via credit cards using Shop Pay, G Pay, PayPal and AfterPay.

Where do you ship to?

We offer free shipping to your door to the 48 contiguous United States.
We can ship orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico for an additional cost. Email us with your address to get a quote at sales@workfromhomedesks.com.

How quickly will I receive my desk once I place an order?

We dispatch desks by the next business day upon order. UPS or FedEx Ground are our default shipping options, which are included in the price of the desk. Both currently take between 3-10 days for 95% of orders. Please allow around two weeks for delivery.

What makes this desk sustainable?

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and it all begins with material selection.

We only use the highest-quality, low formaldehyde, EPA certified birchwood ply to create our desks and accessories.

It's important to us that environmental and social responsibility is involved in sourcing our materials and that raw wood comes from sustainably managed forests with legal logging operations.

Birchwood as a material is known for its superior strength, which means we're able to craft an end product that's built to last.

Innovative design helped us create a product that minimized material wastage and reduced the amount of energy we used.

From the initial prototype through to the final WFH Desk product, we managed to achieve a 50% reduction on our energy consumption and a 30% reduction in material waste.

Thanks to sustainable design, we have reduced the number of offcuts we put in the dumpster and the amount of energy we use.

Mostly pros
I am quite happy with my WFM desk and shelves. Standing and having monitors at eye level has significantly decreased my shoulder and neck pain and has increased my focus. The desk is quite nice to look at, and was relatively easy to put together.
I have some minor complaints that prevented me from giving it 5 stars: There are no written instructions provided with the desk, so when you open it initially it takes a bit to orient to all the pieces. I was able to put it all together relatively quickly, but there was some back-tracking and re-doing (I later realized there are instructional videos on the website, but did not know that at the time). The "wing shelf" with the laptop stand doesn't stay level, and I do not use it. No matter how well wedged-in the stabilizing piece is, it dips down somewhat. However, generally I am quite happy with this purchase.
